Good evening Wheatmore High School, this is Principal Johnson with a few important announcements.

All juniors will be attending an ACT test prep workshop on Wednesday of this week. Students will report during the same block and location as last weeks session.

Also, on Saturday we will have 2 teachers providing ACT test prep from 8-12 in the media center. This is a great way to practice the test items and get use to taking a timed exam. Please sign up with Mrs. Ivey.

Early prom tickets will go on sale this week for juniors and seniors. You must have paid all of your school fees and be current with you school lunch account before purchasing a prom ticket. Tickets will be $35.00 during early ticket sales and will go up to $50.00. Please go to the main office to pay your fees.

Jake from Jostens will be here on March 27th to distribute cap and gowns during lunches please add this date to your calendar.

Catawba College will be on campus on Tuesday Feb 20 at 10:00.  Any Junior or Senior who wishes to meet with Catawba please sign up in Guidance on Monday.

Seniors, the scholarship page has been updated. Scholarship deadlines are fast approaching.  Please see Mrs. Atkins if you need any help.

Attention all AP students. Exam information will be distributed this week.  Please see Mrs. Atkins for more information.

Finally parents, you can access the Randolph County School System’s parent/student handbook online or reference the copy every student received at the beginning of the year.  This handbook has a list of banned items in Rule 3 page 30, Rule 12 & 13 on pages 37, 38.  Please talk with your child about these particular rules and know what your child have in their bookbags and vehicles.  Communication with our children will ensure a positive experience for all students.
