WHS’s Apprenticeship Randolph 2026 candidate — Vinson Childers — took part in a 3‑day hands‑on orientation with local employers at Randolph Community College, March 17–19. Tenth-grade students from across Randolph County recently visited the Richard Petty Education Center at Randolph Community College to explore the diverse certificate, diploma, and associate degree opportunities offered in the Automotive Systems Technology program. The visit included a tour of the Randolph County School System’s bus garage. Wendy Anderson, the RCSS Transportation Director, facilitated engaging hands-on activities with her staff, allowing students to gain insights into various career paths within the automotive industry.
