Today was another heartwarming day as we welcomed back our former RHS students for their Senior Walk! Dressed in their caps and gowns, the Class of 2025 walked the halls one last time — now as high school seniors — inspiring our younger students and bringing smiles, cheers, and even a few happy tears from staff and teachers who remember them as little learners. We’re so proud of their accomplishments and can’t wait to see what’s next in their journey. Once a Lion always a Lion! #SeniorWalk2025

The “Pride in the Randolph County School System (RCSS)” program honors employees who consistently demonstrate pride in the school system and exemplify strong character and commitment in their everyday work. While the program primarily highlights smaller, often unnoticed acts of dedication, it also recognizes exceptional efforts tied to larger events when appropriate. Employees chosen for this recognition are awarded a “Pride in the Randolph County School System” lapel pin. Recipients are selected by members of the RCSS Leadership Team, school principals, or Board of Education members. The following pages list the “Pride in RCSS” pin recipients from May 1, 2024, through April 30, 2025. We extend our sincere thanks to these outstanding employees for their dedication to the Randolph County School System.

Shoutout to our Go Far Running Club! 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️ Our team has been preparing for months for today's race! Over the past few months, our students have learned about fitness and the importance of taking care of themselves. They've stayed after school multiple days a week to practice running and build up their endurance. It definitely paid off today! This amazing team ran a 5k this morning in High Point! What an amazing experience for our students, as well as their families. BIG SHOUTOUT to the teachers who have poured their heart into this team! Mr. Cecil, Mrs. Toomes, and Ms. Stout, thank you for dedicating your time and energy to teach, coach, and prepare our students! You are rockstars! Parents and families, thank you for allowing your child to participate and for joining us today to cheer them on! Join us in congratulating our team for their hard work and dedication! Way to go, Lions! Your hard work paid off, and we couldn't be more proud of each and every one of you! 🦁
