Dear PGHS Staff & Students,
I would like to express my gratitude for your continued support as we announce a new educational pathway for the 25-26 school year: Adobe Certified Professional. This pathway will replace the Computer Engineering Pathway previously offered during the 23-25 school years.
The former pathway included CompTIA IT Fundamentals and Computer Engineering I & II. Students interested in an IT career can still pursue this path as Juniors or Seniors through Career & College Promise at Randolph Community College at no cost to them or their parents.
The Adobe Certified Professional pathway will provide students with industry-recognized credentials in Adobe software operations. Initially, this will be rolled out with the Adobe Visual Design I class, which offers introductory certifications in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. This pathway will appeal to students interested in graphics, design, photography, and art.
In summary, PGHS students should cross out CompTIA IT Fundamentals and Computer Engineering I on their registration sheets and add Adobe Visual Design I. During their one-on-one registration meetings, we will have a detailed discussion to ensure students are placed in the correct elective classes.
Thank you for your understanding in this matter. Please feel free to email catkins@randolph.k12.nc.us with any questions or concerns.

2/20/25 will be a Remote Learning Day. Students should NOT report to their school’s Campus on 2/20/25.

Youth Art Month Receptions will be March 4, 2025
